Trustees Approve $82,000 Marketing Deal With Roxann Taylor

Carroll School Board members unanimously approved a three-year marketing and sponsorship agreement with Roxann Taylor & Associates, Realtors. The contract includes exclusive sponsorship of the school calendar and popcorn megaphones at all Dragon concession stands. Other benefits include 12 online newsletter advertisements, sponsorship of the volleyball program, 2008 and 2009 football promotional nights, signage in the Carroll Senior High School gymnasium, We Care Platinum sponsorship, The Green Pages online web directory and Dragon logo use for advertising purposes.

School officials say Carroll ISD has a number of agreements with local realtors, and this three-year deal with Roxann Taylor & Associates does not prevent other realtors from becoming CISD sponsors. Roxann Taylor has been a longtime supporter of CISD programs, the Carroll Education Foundation and Digging For Dragons. Money generated from this marketing agreement will benefit the CISD general operating fund.

The district's marketing program generates nearly a quarter of a million dollars for the general fund and the We Care program. For more information about becoming a sponsor, call 817-949-7080 or visit the marketing website.

Carroll Cafeterias Now Serving Parents Online

Carroll ISD’s Child Nutrition Department is proud to announce the implementation of Lunch Money Now. This program is an addition to the point-of-sale software provided by Systems Design. Systems Design specializes in food service management systems for school nutrition programs.

Lunch Money Now permits parents access to their student's cafeteria account via the Internet. A link is provided on the district’s website by clicking “Lunch Menus” from the home page. This new service makes it possible to view the student’s account balance, view and print the student's recent purchase history and make deposits to the child’s meal account using a debit or credit card. Deposits are recorded on a secure site and are typically available for review within the hour of the transaction.

Lunch Money Now also allows deposits to multiple accounts with a single credit card transaction. The deposit function will be available to CISD parents beginning July 1. In the meantime, parents may access their child’s account to view balance and purchase history by visiting the district’s “Lunch Menus” link from the home page or https://www.lunchmoneynow.com/lmncrl/Main.htm.

Carroll ISD joins over 60 other school districts in Texas using the Lunch Money Now program. This service has been popular with students and parents alike because of its convenience.

An additional feature of the program allows parents to subscribe to E-mail warnings when their child’s account dips below a specified threshold. With the help of Lunch Money Now, Carroll ISD is now ready to serve parents online - 24 hours a day!
