Kindergarten Registration Continues

Students who turn five years old on or before September 1, 2008 are eligible to register for kindergarten in Carroll ISD. Some campuses are offering single registration dates and parents can register their kindergarten students anytime on or after that event. Others ask for parents to register their kindergartner during regular business hours and have planned a student orientation for later in the month.

To register your child for kindergarten, you'll need a copy of the child's Social Security number, up-to-date immunization records, birth certificate and two proofs of residency. A driver's license does not constitute proof of residence; rather parents are asked to submit a recent electric AND water bill.

Remaining dates for kindergarten registration are:

Durham Elementary - Tuesday, April 22 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Rockenbaugh Elementary - Thursday, April 24 from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
Carroll Elementary - Register during regular office hours April 14-24.
