Craig Rothmeier was elected to the Carroll Board of Trustees in 2005 and currently serves as Board Secretary. Born in Denver, Colorado, he has been a resident of Southlake for 16 years. He and his wife, Peggy, an interior designer, have two children who graduated from the Carroll system, Kristin (1995) and Nicholas (1997). Mr. Rothmeier is a graduate of the University of Colorado in Boulder , with a bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Mr. Rothmeier has served in a number of civic capacities, including membership on the Joint Use Committee as the City of Southlake representative; the Southlake Program for the Involvement of Neighborhoods (SPIN) (committee secretary); Sister Cities ; and the Apex Arts League. He has been active in Junior Achievement as a business consultant for a number of years, and has volunteered his time mentoring inner city youth, as well as reading books-to-tape for dyslexic and sight-impaired students and adults. He currently represents CISD on the Joint Use Committee.

Currently the General Manager/Texas for Deep South, an underwriting management firm, Mr. Rothmeier retired from Verizon after a career with AT&T and GTE. During his career, he held numerous executive management positions and was involved extensively in strategic planning and budget management for several business units. In his current capacity with Deep South, he has responsibility for underwriting, claims, marketing, and information technology.

Mr. Rothmeier's term ends in 2008.

Bernie Ausdenmoore was elected to the School Board in May 2005. He currently serves as a member of the Budget & Finance Committee and the Joint Use Committee. In the past, he served as chairman of the Drug and Alcohol Awareness Committee and as chairman of the district's Technology Committee. Prior to being elected as a Trustee, Mr. Ausdenmoore was chosen to serve on the 2005 Bond Steering Committee. He is also active in the Grapevine-Southlake Soccer Association as a coach and referee.

Mr. Ausdenmoore and his wife, Peg, have resided in Southlake since May of 1998. They have three children attending school in the district.

Mr. Ausdenmoore received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Valparaiso University. He is currently the Vice President of Sales for BBC Distribution, a national wholesale distributor of building products and components for the manufactured housing industry, headquartered in Ft. Worth.

Mr. Ausdenmoore's term will expire in May 2008.

Sue Armstrong was elected to the Board in May 2005. She has lived in Southlake since August 2000 with her husband and two children. She is a graduate of the University of San Diego, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Mrs. Armstrong was the Western Regional Sales Manager for CDA Investment Technologies, in San Francisco, specializing in corporate investor relations information & services and also worked for the High Tech IPO Division of Morgan Stanley & Co. in Menlo Park, CA . She is an active community and public school volunteer, serving on the PTO Boards at Eubanks and Carroll High Schools.

She currently serves as the Board's PTO President's Liaison, representative to the District Advisory Committee and as a member of the Audit Committee.

Mrs. Armstrong's term will expire in 2008.

Danny Gilpin was elected to the School Board in May 2006.  Mr. Gilpin and his wife, Kristin, have resided in Southlake since March 1999.  They have two daughters, Tabitha & Kendall, attending elementary school in the district.

Mr. Gilpin received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Southern Methodist University.  He is currently the Assistant Vice President for Terrabrook, a national residential real estate developer headquartered in Dallas .  His primary work experience has involved financial analysis and asset management of active residential developments involving sales, marketing and development opportunities.

Mr. Gilpin has been actively involved in raising money for Carroll ISD through the Carroll Education Foundation.  He has served on the Foundation's Executive Committee for the past five years and was the Board Chairman in 2005. He is currently serving as Chairman of the district's Audit Committee, and is a past Chairman of the Budget & Finance Committee.

Mr. Gilpin's term will expire in May 2009.

Mrs. Shoupp was elected to the Board of Education in May 2003 and currently serves as Board President. She serves as an ex-officio member of the Carroll Education Foundation, and is past Chairman of the Southlake Carroll Robin Hood Coalition. She also represents the Board at the Southlake Executive Forum meetings and is currently the Chairman of the Budget & Finance Committee.

Mrs. Shoupp holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. Her work experience includes corporate strategy and development for Ameritech Development Corporation and mergers and acquisitions for Prudential-Bache Capital Funding. Mrs. Shoupp actively volunteers in the district and in the community, and has served in the past as the Parent-Teacher Organization President for Durham Elementary School and for Chapel Hill Children's School.

Her past committee work includes chairman of the Academic cocurricular Enhancement Committee, the CISD Technology Committee, the Carroll ISD/City of Southlake Drug and Alcohol Committee, the Joint Use Committee, and the district's Recruitment, Retention, and Reward initiative. She and her husband have four children.

Mrs. Shoupp's term ends in May 2009 .

John Thane was elected to a three-year term on the Carroll ISD Board of Trustees in May 2007. He has resided in Southlake since the summer of 2001. His wife, Libby, is a Life Skills teacher's aide in Carroll ISD, and they have two sons attending CISD schools.

Mr. Thane holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Texas State University. He is a Financial Planning Specialist with Smith, Barney, a division of Citigroup. He offices in Town Square and has more than 15 years experience in the financial services industry.

Mr. Thane served as president of the Dad's Club at Johnson Elementary School and is a graduate of the Southlake Citizens Academy  He is a member of the Southlake Executive Forum, the Southlake Rotary Club, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas and the Southlake and Decatur Chambers of Commerce. He also serves as the district's representative to the S.P.A.R.K.S. Committee (Students and Parents Against Risks for Kids in Southlake).

Mr. Thane's term will expire in May 2010.

Sherri Williams, retired banker, volunteer and substitute teacher, was elected to her second term on the Board of Trustees in May 2007. She currently serves as the Board Vice President. She has been a resident of Texas and Carroll ISD for 11 years.

Mrs. Williams received her Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from UCLA in 1982. She served as Vice President of Imperial Bank in Beverly Hills from 1984 to 1989 and has served as a CISD substitute teacher in the past. She and her husband have three children attending CISD schools.

Mrs. Williams serves on the District Advisory Committee, as the Board's representative to the Tax Increment Finance Board and as a member of the Budget & Finance Committee. In the past, she has also served on the Drug and Alcohol Awareness Committee and as chairman of the Revenue Enhancement Committee. She is a founding member of the Carroll Education Foundation, CISD Concerned Parents and the Robin Hood Coalition Committee. She is also a founding member of the Rockenbaugh Elementary PTO and served that organization as an Executive Board member, School Board Liaison and Homeroom Mom. Mrs. Williams is a member of the Carroll Band Boosters, the Eubanks Intermediate PTO and is a founding member of the Dawson Middle School PTO.

Mrs. Williams' term on the Board expires in 2010.
