DMS open 3-6 PM for students to set up lockers and pick
up textbooks.

21st- DMS open 4-6 PM for 7th & 8th
grade students who could not attend August 18. Schedules
and textbooks issued.

Access usernames and passwords are available in the front
office. You must show a drivers license in order to pick
up the information.

SAFETY
AND SECURITY
In
light of the recent events in schools across the nation,
the administration and staff at Dawson have reviewed our
own safety procedures. We want to ensure that we are doing
everything possible to provide a safe and secure campus.
- Texas
Avenue doors in the front and the back will be opened
at 7:30 a.m. each morning. The
front doors will open at 8:00 a.m. Please
have your child go to the gym area if they arrive before
8:00 a.m.
- Please drop
off your child at the back of Dawson unless they have
been issued a dual pass (students at Dawson and Eubanks)
or are arriving early for band.
- Please remember
that teachers are on duty at 8:00 a.m. for student tutoring.
Parents are asked not go to teacher classrooms without
an appointment during this time.
- Please
check in at the front office when entering the building
and you will be given a visitor’s pass.
If you are here to check out your child, you may proceed
to the attendance window; you will not be required
to get a visitor’s badge. Your signature will
be logged in the attendance office
Our goal at Dawson
is to remain a warm and inviting campus, while still ensuring the
safety of all students, parents and staff members. Thank you for
